Double denim is making a come back this season, and I can’t help but disagree. This is a trend I have never understood. Don’t get me wrong I love my denim but doubling up seems like overkill to me. If your adamant to explore this trend it is essential that you mix-up the shades to create some division.

The bare ankle look has followed from last season remaining a current trend to begin 2012 with. From Louis Vuitton to Dior, from Dolce and Gabana to DSQUARED, models stomped the runways in ankle cropped trousers. Reminiscent of the 1950s mod subculture these trousers are perfect for this summer. We can’t help but love this fitted cropped look it’s chic and interchangeable. As much as we find this trend to be a winner for 2012 it can easily go wrong, so for a more classic look avoid socks, and to give it a more rebel, rocker look add boots and socks.

Coming off the catwalks of Milan this seemingly simple detail can make or break your outfit. Hard to believe but this now booming trend was inspired by military men returning from action in the 20th Century. Now dominating this seasons men’s wear they have become a staple for the male wardrobe. Earthy, rich shades have a desirable honesty so to finish off your look trade in your khaki and blacks for rusty reds and browns and you will have an outfit the girls can’t resist.
